\n A24 has released the first trailer for Sofia Coppola\u2019s \u201cPriscilla.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n Based on Priscilla Presley\u2019s 1985 memoir \u201cElvis and Me,\u201d the biographical film follows her life and relationship with the King of Rock \u2018n Roll. Cailee Spaeny (\u201cMare of Easttown,\u201d \u201cBad Times at the El Royale\u201d) stars as Priscilla, with Jacob Elordi (\u201cEuphoria,\u201d \u201cThe Kissing Booth\u201d) as Elvis Presley. <\/p>\n

\n Spaeny and Elordi are the latest stars to play Priscilla and Elvis Presley on screen. Olivia DeJonge and Austin Butler played the lead roles in Baz Luhrmann\u2019s 2022 biographical music drama \u201cElvis,\u201d which scored two Golden Globe nominations and one win for Butler\u2019s performance as the iconic singer. The film went on to earn Oscar nominations for best picture, best actor and more.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cPriscilla\u201d marks Coppola\u2019s third collaboration with A24, following 2020\u2019s \u201cOn the Rocks\u201d and 2013\u2019s \u201cThe Bling Ring.\u201d A series<\/a> adaptation of Edith Wharton\u2019s \u201cThe Custom of the Country\u201d is also in development between A24 and Coppola.<\/p>\n

\n Several of Coppola\u2019s longtime collaborators \u2014 including cinematographer Philippe Le Sourd, costume designer Stacey Battat, editor Sarah Flack and production designer Tamara Deverell \u2014 are attached to the project. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cPriscilla\u201d is directed and written by Coppola, who serves as a producer alongside Youree Henry, Lorenzo Mieli of The Apartment, Fremantle Company and American Zoetrope. The production is financed by The Apartment and Sony\u2019s Stage 6 Films. <\/p>\n

\n A24 will distribute \u201cPriscilla\u201d in North America, with Vision Distribution handling distribution in Italy, where it will become a Sky exclusive. Stage 6 Films\/Sony Pictures International Releasing will distribute in the rest of the world. <\/p>\n
