\n An Emmy win could bring composers Howard Shore and Hans Zimmer just a Tony away from EGOT.<\/p>\n

\n This morning when the Emmy nominations were announced, Zimmer (Dune<\/em>) was cited for the score of App<\/a>le TV+\u2019s Prehistoric Planet<\/em> and Shore (The Lord of the Rings<\/em>) collected his first Emmy nom for Amazon\u2019s The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power.<\/em> They are among those celebrating Creative Arts Emmy nominations.<\/p>\n

\n Nominees who could add an Emmy next to their Academy Awards are Oscar winning sound mixer for Bohemian Rhapsody<\/em> Paul Massey (Emmy nominated for David Bowie doc Moonage Daydream<\/em> alongside three-time Oscar nominee David Giammarco); sound supervisors John Warhurst and Nina Hartstone (Oscar winners for Bohemian Rhapsody<\/em>, who are Emmy nominated for Moonage Daydream<\/em>); and mixer Skip Lievsay (Oscar winner for Gravity<\/em>, who is Emmy nominated for Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\n Meanwhile, multi Grammy winner Ed Sheeran received his first Emmy nom for Ted Lasso<\/em>\u2019s music.<\/p>\n

\n Stephanie Filo achieved a remarkable feat, earning three Emmy noms in picture editing for three different shows in the same year. She is nominated for her work on Dahmer \u2013 Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, A Black Lady Sketch Show <\/em>and History of the World, Part II<\/em>. For A Black Lady Sketch Show<\/em> she is nominated alongside Malinda Zehner Guerra and Taylor Joy Mason. Filo and Mason earned 2022 Emmys for the series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n Longtime Tim Burton collaborators that earned nominations for Wednesday<\/em> include Oscar and Emmy winning costume designer Colleen Atwood and <\/em>composer Danny Elfman, who earned a pair of noms for the series\u2019 score and main title music. Elfman is a four-time Oscar nominee who won Emmys for the main title music from Desperate Housewives<\/em> and for music supervision of Live from Lincoln Center<\/em>. The tiro are currently working on Beetlejuice 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Some of Guillermo Del Toro\u2019s regular collaborators are in the Emmy race for his Cabinet Of Curiosities<\/em>, including Oscar nominated production designer Tamara Deverell and costume designer Luis Sequeira.<\/p>\n

\n In cinematography, noted DP Dean Cundey\u2014the veteran who lensed Who Framed Roger Rabbit<\/em>, for which he was Oscar nominated; the Back to the Future<\/em> trilogy; and Apollo 13<\/em> \u2014 collected his first Emmy nom for an episode (\u201cChapter 20: The Foundling\u201d) of Disney+ and Lucasfilm\u2019s The Mandalorian<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Composer Nicholas Britell earned a trio of Emmy nominations this year for the score of Succession<\/em> and the score and main title music for Andor<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Editor Skip Macdonald, who won an Emmy for cutting the series finale of Breaking Bad<\/em>, is now Emmy-nominated for the finale of Breaking Bad<\/em> spinoff Better Call Saul <\/em>(\u201cSaul Gone\u201d).<\/p>\n

\n Barrie Gower, the veteran prosthetics designer who won three Emmys for Game<\/a> of Thrones <\/em>and one for Stranger Things<\/em>, is double nominated this season for House of the Dragon<\/em> and The Last of Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Cinematographer Dami\u00e1n Garc\u00eda, whose upcoming work includes the 2025-scheduled Blade<\/em>, is Emmy-nominated for an episode of Andor<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Skywalker Sound Star Wars<\/em> franchise vets David Acord and Matt Wood \u2014 both Oscar nominees and Emmy winners \u2014 are back in the Emmy race. Acord is nominated for Andor<\/em>, and Wood, for The Mandalorian<\/em> and Obi-Wan Kenobi<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n Sound nominees also include Will Files, who was Oscar nominated earlier this year for The Batman<\/em> and now has collected a pair of Emmy noms, for the sound editing and mixing in Stranger Things<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
