{"id":584726,"date":"2023-07-28T22:30:50","date_gmt":"2023-07-28T19:30:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/square-enix-promises-better-xbox-support-going-forward\/"},"modified":"2023-07-28T22:30:50","modified_gmt":"2023-07-28T19:30:50","slug":"square-enix-promises-better-xbox-support-going-forward","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/square-enix-promises-better-xbox-support-going-forward\/","title":{"rendered":"#\r\n      Square Enix promises better Xbox support going forward"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Square Enix CEO Takashi Kiryu promised better support for Xbox platforms going forward during <em>Final Fantasy XIV<\/em> Fan Fest 2023 Las Vegas. <span id=\"more-825520\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer  <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared on stage to announce the Xbox <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Series<\/a> version of <em>Final Fantasy XIV<\/em> alongside the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>\u2019s producer and director Naoki Yoshida, before Kiryu joined them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I really appreciate about [Naoki Yoshida] and your team is you put the player at the center of everything that you do,\u201d Spencer said on stage. \u201cIt couldn\u2019t be more clear than watching your presentation today. At Xbox, we share a very similar spirit when it comes to our players. And we\u2019re really inspired by how you have made <em>Final Fantasy XIV<\/em> with [everyone] a global success, and we want to bring the Xbox community and your Warriors of Light together in a way that is safe, secure, and engaging\u2014and above all, fun. And we also see this as a seminal moment in our relationship with [Square Enix] and the <em>Final Fantasy<\/em> team as we look to partner more closely together in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spencer continued, \u201cThe entire Xbox team is excited to see how our newest Warriors of Light will use the full capabilities of Xbox Series X and Series S to help save Eorzea. And I\u2019m excited to partner with you, Yoshida-san, and your studios as you bring this incredible franchise to global platforms to enable more players to connect and experience the joy of gaming together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kiryu then joined Spencer and Yoshida on stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst off, I have to thank you, Phil-san, for working with us to make the Xbox version of <em>Final Fantasy XIV<\/em> a reality,\u201d Kiryu said. \u201cThis is a project that wouldn\u2019t have been possible without [Phil\u2019s] support.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- AD: content --><br \/>\n        Kiryu continued, \u201cI think I can speak for myself, [Yoshida], and all of our Warriors of Light here watching the live stream when I say how excited I am to see Xbox support added, and for us to welcome countless new friends to the world of <em>Final Fantasy XIV<\/em>. <em>Final Fantasy XIV<\/em> is only going to get bigger and better, so all the Xbox gamers out there, I urge you to give <em>Final Fantasy XIV<\/em> a try.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd one more thing, as CEO of Square Enix, we want to continue to deliver fabulous games to fans across the world, and of course we want to welcome the Xbox community as well, and starting with today\u2019s announcement of <em>Final Fantasy XIV<\/em> coming in spring 2024, and whenever possible, we are planning to bring our games to Xbox for players around the world to enjoy. We\u2019re really looking forward to working closely with Phil and the Xbox team to make this possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spencer then added, \u201cThank you, Kiryu-san.
