Bam Margera<\/strong> could be facing some time behind bars\u2026<\/p>\n

As you may recall, the 43-year-old television personality allegedly \u201cgot into an altercation\u201d with his brother Jess Margera<\/strong> at their home near Philadelphia back in April, resulting in a warrant for his arrest. After days on the run, he eventually turned himself in to the police.<\/p>\n

Months after the incident, the Associated Press<\/em> reported Bam pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges in court on Thursday, which included simple assault and making terroristic threats. Although he has been free on $50,000 bail, a judge determined on Thursday he must stand trial for the allegations. However, prosecutors agreed to drop two of the four terroristic threats counts \u2013 despite him threatening to shoot family members and leaving Jess a threatening note.<\/p>\n

To remain out of prison for the time being, Bam was ordered to get a drug and alcohol screening. But the former MTV<\/strong> star explained to the judge he has been in drug and alcohol treatment and residing with Lamar Odom<\/strong> this year. During the proceedings, Jess also testified about the situation. He told the court:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not trying to get him in trouble here. I just want him to get the help because I feel like this is our last chance.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Noting how the family has been dealing with his brother\u2019s concerning behavior for two decades now, he mentioned how things reached a breaking point during that \u201cfrightening and unpredictable\u201d visit at their home months ago. Jess recalled in court that Bam punched him after seeing a text message that suggested he needed mental health treatment. The Jackass<\/em> star hit his sibling in the nose and ear, rupturing his eardrum.<\/p>\n
