\n Naturally, all the folks who\u2019d been downplaying and\/or defending the violence of the anti-cop demonstrations across America are happ<\/a>ily seconding Joe Biden\u2019s claim that yes, it is terrible \u2014 and it\u2019s all President Trump\u2019s fault.<\/p>\n

In fact, Biden\u2019s remarks fall far short: The left is plainly driving the chaos \u2014 the fires, the looting, the attacks on police stations and courthouses \u2014 but he simply denounced violence \u201con both sides,\u201d repeatedly singling out \u201cwhite supremacists,\u201d \u201cwhite nationalists,\u201d \u201cright-wing militias\u201d and so on, with nary a mention of antifa.<\/p>\n

Let alone a breath about the extremism of the leaders of Black Lives Matter.<\/p>\n

The horrors \u201care images of Donald Trump\u2019s America today,\u201d Biden declared. But they were also images of Barack Obama\u2019s America \u2014 years of deadly violence after black deaths at police hands. Two cops were assassinated in New York after Eric Garner\u2019s death; Ferguson, Mo., burned after Michael Brown\u2019s death. A sniper killed five policemen in Dallas during a Black Lives Matter march.<\/p>\n

Throughout, opportunists saw their moment, and radicals fomented chaos. And it\u2019s only going to get worse until local officials start refusing to allow it.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a president who fans the flames rather than fighting the flames,\u201d Biden claimed. But Trump has warned his supporters against vigilantism, telling Fox News<\/a> Channel, \u201cI want to leave it to law enforcement.\u201d<\/p>\n

Biden says he has no \u201csoft spot for rioters\u201d but makes no similar call for his backers to put away their weapons. And many Biden staffers have donated to get rioters and looters out on bail, with running mate Kamala Harris tweeting her support.<\/p>\n

You need to do better, Joe.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
