Angus Cloud is being remembered by those who knew and cared for him. <\/p>\n

The \u201cEuphoria\u201d actor died at the age of 25 at his family\u2019s home in Oakland, California, NBC News<\/a> confirmed on July 31. The news of his death came a week after his father was buried, Cloud\u2019s family said in a statement. <\/p>\n

Cloud was best known for his role as Fezco in the HBO drama, which has run for two seasons and has a third on the way. Amid news of Cloud’s death, the cast of \u201cEuphoria\u201d \u2014 including Zendaya \u2014 paid tribute to their fellow co-star, remembering their time with the late star. <\/p>\n

Maude Apatow, who portrayed Lexi Howard on the series<\/a>, shared how her “heart is broken” after Cloud’s death. Their characters had developed a sweet friendship during the second season. <\/p>\n

\u201cAngus was the funniest person ever. I would get so excited to see on the schedule that we would be working together because I knew we\u2019d have the best day, laughing so hard,\u201d Apatow wrote on Instagram<\/a> on Aug. 2. \u201cHe was the sweetest and made everyone around him so happ<\/a>y. He was just the best. Words can\u2019t really capture how magical of a person he was. My heart is broken.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that getting to know and work with Cloud \u201cwas one of the greatest joys and blessings of my life. I will love you forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

The show’s creator, Sam Levinson, remembered the actor in a statement provided to NBC News.<\/p>\n

“There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon,” Levinson said. “He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family.”<\/p>\n

Javon Walton, who portrayed Cloud\u2019s on-screen brother, Ashtray, shared a photo of the two on his Instagram<\/a> hugging. He wrote, \u201crest easy brother.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also posted a photo of the two on his Instagram story, writing, \u201cforever family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Colman Domingo, Ali on the show, shared a photo of the cast at the premiere, writing<\/a>, \u201cAnd that was his smile. That was him. May he rest sweetly in peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also posted a photo of him with Cloud and actor Jacob Elordi on his Instagram story, adding, \u201cCouldn\u2019t be more real, original and sweet. Loved this kid. Always smiles. I hope this sensitive soul is at rest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drake, who is an executive producer on “Euphoria,” also shared a photo of Cloud on his Instagram story. <\/p>\n

The show\u2019s official X, formerly known as Twitter, profile shared a statement.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and \u2018Euphoria\u2019 family,\u201d the statement reads. \u201cWe extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the unlikely friendship that formed between Fez and Lexi, Season Two of \u201cEuphoria\u201d ended with Fez getting ready to attend her play when mayhem ensued. His brother, Ashtray, had a shootout with the police from their home, subsequently getting shot. In the midst of the chaos, Fez was also shot in the stomach and then arrested. <\/p>\n

While speaking with Variety following the season finale, Cloud said that he didn\u2019t know if Fez would return for the third season. \u201cThey haven\u2019t really told me yet,\u201d he said, leaving it up to the show creator. <\/p>\n

Within the statement Cloud\u2019s family released confirming Cloud’s death, they wrote that they hope the world remembers him \u201cfor his humor, laughter and love for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
