{"id":585672,"date":"2023-08-04T20:59:50","date_gmt":"2023-08-04T17:59:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/pelosi-takes-shot-at-scared-puppy-trump\/"},"modified":"2023-08-04T20:59:50","modified_gmt":"2023-08-04T17:59:50","slug":"pelosi-takes-shot-at-scared-puppy-trump","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/pelosi-takes-shot-at-scared-puppy-trump\/","title":{"rendered":"#Pelosi takes shot at \u2018scared puppy\u2019 Trump"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/04\/AP23109742929699-e1682810221780.jpg?w=900\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Friday said former President Trump had looked like a \u201cscared puppy\u201d a day earlier as he <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a>ed to Washington, D.C., to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear in court in his arraignment on charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol and his efforts to remain in power.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wasn\u2019t in the courtroom of course, but when I saw his coming out of his car and this or that, I saw a scared puppy,\u201d Pelosi said in an interview with MSNBC\u2019s Andrea Mitchell. \u201cHe looked very, very, very concerned about the fate,\u201d adding she did not see any \u201cbravado or confidence or anything like that\u201d from Trump. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>\u201cHe knows the truth, the truth that he lost the election,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd now he\u2019s got to face the music.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Trump appeared at Washington\u2019s federal courthouse Thursday afternoon where he pleaded not guilty to four counts alleging he led a conspiracy to defraud the U.S. and attempted to block the certification of votes Jan. 6, 2021.\u00a0The Department of Justice\u2019s 45-page indictment alleges Trump led a campaign of \u201cdishonesty, fraud and conceit\u201d to obstruct a \u201cbedrock function\u201d of a democracy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pelosi appointed the nine members of the\u00a0House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol, which investigated the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and surrounding events and communications from those involved. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cVery proud of the Jan. 6 committee, which took us, laid the foundation, created a path or us to get to this place, to seek the truth,\u201d she said Friday.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about Trump\u2019s defense\u2019s strategies to delay the trials until after the election if he is the Republican nominee, Pelosi said it\u2019s because the former president is \u201cafraid of the truth.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstead of having this back-and-forth publicly about delay and that, there are certain options that are available to a person who has been arraigned,\u201d Pelosi said. \u201cBut that\u2019s up to the judges to decide.
