\n Jamie Foxx has apologized for an Instagram post that was perceived as being antisemitic.<\/p>\n

\n In a since-deleted post, Foxx wrote \u201cThey killed this dude name Jesus \u2026 What do you think they\u2019ll do to you???! #fakefriends #fakelove.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n \u201cI want to apologize to the Jewish community and everyone who was offended by my post,\u201d Foxx wrote in a new post on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cI now know my choice of words have caused offense and I\u2019m sorry. That was never my intent. To clarify, I was betrayed by a fake friend and that\u2019s what I meant with \u201cthey\u201d not anything more. I only have love in my heart for everyone. I love and support the Jewish community. My deepest apologies to anyone who was offended. \u2026 Nothing but love always, Jamie Foxx.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n He included four heart emojis and a praying hands emoji along with the fox emoji in his post.<\/p>\n

\n The controversy around Foxx\u2019s initial post also spread to Jennifer Aniston.<\/p>\n

\n In a screenshot shared by A Wider Frame<\/em>, a news<\/a>letter that covers current events in the Jewish world, it app<\/a>eared that Aniston liked Foxx\u2019s original post.<\/p>\n

\n Aniston took to her Instagram stories Friday night<\/a> to clarify things alongside the Wider Frame post.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cThis really makes me sick. I did not \u201clike\u201d this post on purpose or by accident,\u201d Aniston wrote. \u201cAnd more importantly, I want to be clear to my friends and anyone hurt by this showing up in their feeds \u2013 I do NOT support any form of antisemitism. And I truly don\u2019t tolerate HATE of any kind. Period.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Foxx\u2019s post was criticized for seemingly promoting the antisemitic view<\/a> that the Jewish people were responsible for the death of Jesus Christ. <\/p>\n

\n The actor\u2019s posts come as he continues to recover after he was hospitalized due to a \u201cmedical complication\u201d that he experienced while making the Netflix film Back in Action<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n In a video posted to Instagram two weeks ago, Foxx finally spoke out about his recovery. Though he didn\u2019t reveal many details on what happened to him, he said, \u201cI went through something that I thought I would never ever go through.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n And he shot down rumors that he was \u201cblind\u201d or \u201cparalyzed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n \u201cAs you can see, the eyes are working, the eyes are working just fine,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m not paralyzed, but \u2026 I went to hell and back, and my road to recovery had some potholes as well. But I\u2019m coming back and I\u2019m able to work.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n He also addressed the lack of information from himself and his team during his recovery.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cI know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates, but to be honest with you, I just didn\u2019t want you to see me like that, man,\u201d he continued. \u201cI want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, television show. I didn\u2019t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was gonna make it through.\u201d<\/p>\n
