Greg Steube (R-Fla.) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/steube.house.gov\/press-releases\/u-s-rep-greg-steube-files-articles-of-impeachment-against-joseph-robinette-biden-jr-president-of-the-united-states-for-high-crimes-and-misdemeanors\/\">announced<\/a> he filed articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Steube\u2019s office said he filed the articles against the president for \u201cfor high crimes and misdemeanors.\u201d The <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/steube.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Steube_Impeachment_Resolution_st.pdf\">articles<\/a> feature accusations of fraud, obstruction of justice and bribery stemming from allegations of illegal business dealings and tax crimes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s long past time to impeach Joe Biden,\u201d Stebue said in the statement. \u201cHe has undermined the integrity of his office, brought disrepute on the Presidency, betrayed his trust as President, and acted in a manner subversive of the rule of law and justice at the expense of America\u2019s citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Steube, who endorsed former President Donald Trump in his 2024 bid for the presidency in April, is joining him and other Florida U.S. House representatives at the Iowa State Fair this weekend.
