The PC (Steam) version of ghostpia Season One<\/em> will launch on August 22, developer Chosuido announced<\/a>. <\/p>\n

While ghostpia Season One<\/em> launched for Switch earlier this year, the PC version will feature keyboard and mouse controls, full high-definition and 4K resolution support, performance up to 60 frames per second, and Steam achievements.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe apologize for the long wait leading up to this release,\u201d Chosuido said in a statement. \u201cWe are thrilled to finally be able to deliver this to you. As Chosuido, this is our first release on Steam, and it has been a journey filled with challenges. We made you wait, but thanks to the overwhelming support and encouragement from all of you, we managed to reach this milestone. We are truly grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chosuido will also release the ghostpia Season One<\/em> original soundtrack \u201cRelay<\/a>\u201d and official art book<\/a> day and date with the game<\/a>\u2019s PC release.<\/p>\n

ghostpia Season One<\/em> is a visual novel with cute visuals that look like a picture book, adorned with glitches and noise, and characterized by nostalgic expressions. We were inspired by the well-known expression \u201cgraphic novel\u201d in the west.<\/p>\n

This work belongs to the genre called visual novel, but as a more graphical visual novel, we call it \u201cdenshi graphic novel\u201d (\u201cdenshi\u201d means electronic in Japanese).<\/p>\n

Story<\/strong><\/p>\n

Isolated from the world by snow, a town lies barren near the farthest station. A town exists where ghosts flood the streets at night. But we aren\u2019t really ghosts. We are immortal. Unable to die, with our unending lives, we took to referring to ourselves like that.<\/p>\n

They say this is an ideal town. A true utopia for ghosts. \u201cBut is it really? Can you really call this place a utopia?\u201d<\/p>\n

This is Sayako, and her plight. For you see, Sayako is the only one in town who doesn\u2019t truly belong. All the while she is sharing a room with the mysterious new girl in town, Yoru.<\/p>\n

More than anything in the world, Sayako longs to return home to her hometown. To set off beyond the unfathomable vast desert of snow, beyond where nobody has ever gone. To the home she could only dream was out there. To be able to remember what she has forgotten, the thing she holds the most dear.<\/p>\n

That is her dream.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn a hopeless town such as this, a useless girl like me can\u2019t help but dream.\u201d<\/p>\n
