Keke Palmer\u2019s baby father Darius Jackson has dismissed reports that he\u2019s said anything about his feelings towards the former, insisting he never gave any statement about being unbothered by Palmer\u2019s new video with Usher.<\/p>\n

Radar Online<\/a><\/em> reported on Wednesday (August 16) that Palmer\u2019s child\u2019s father had been working on \u201cputting the drama behind him\u201d and that he was \u201cunbothered\u201d by Keke and Usher coming together on the latter\u2019s new song \u201cBoyfriend.\u201d A\u00a0recent report<\/a> also said Jackson had \u201cmoved on.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Jackson has now confirmed that he never said anything related to said drama, taking to Twitter<\/a> to denounce any rumors that point to the contrary.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t spoken to anyone about anything or gave permission to anyone to speak for me,\u201d he wrote. \u201cSo all these sites & post about me making any type of statement is false.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson\u2019s reply comes after the initial drama kicked off in July, when he took issue with Keke\u2019s outfit at Usher\u2019s Las Vegas show. \u201cIt\u2019s the outfit tho.. you a mom,\u201d he wrote on Twitter, publicly criticizing his partner.<\/p>\n

After facing blowback, Jackson double-downed on his stance, adding: \u201cWe live in a generation where a man of the family doesn\u2019t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.\u201d<\/p>\n

Usher then dropped off the video for his new single \u201cBoyfriend.\u201d Starring Keke Palmer, many looked to Jackson for his reaction as the entire clip pokes fun at the concert issue.<\/p>\n

The clip starts off much like the video for Usher\u2019s 2001 hit \u201cU Don\u2019t Have To Call\u201d as Palmer can be seen sliding around in a white robe as she gets ready for a night out at the\u00a0Confessions<\/em>\u00a0crooner\u2019s Vegas concert.<\/p>\n

As Keke meets up with her homegirls, Usher\u2019s lyrics send a self-serving message that suggests he could care less if he\u2019s wrecking someone\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomebody said that your boyfriend\u2019s looking for me\/ Oh that\u2019s cool, that\u2019s cool\/ Well he should know I\u2019m pretty easy to find\/ Just look for me wherever he sees you<\/em>,\u201d he belts out over the bouncy, club-friendly production.<\/p>\n

At the end of the video, Keke then wakes up in bed to a phone call and realizes she was dreaming the whole thing and has slept through Usher\u2019s show.<\/p>\n

She then says: \u201cShit, I\u2019m so tired! I\u2019m a mother\u2026 after all\u201d with a wink \u2014 a nod to her boyfriend\u2019s criticism.<\/p>\n

The R&B star \u2014 who just wrapp<\/a>ed the first run of his Vegas residency \u2014 additionally sat down with PEOPLE<\/a><\/em> earlier this month to weigh in on the whole controversy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think everybody\u2019s vision or a version of what they felt happened there just leads you back to just really having a good time in Las Vegas,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd that\u2019s what I hope came out of it. Rather, it was a conversation of what was going on with us having fun in front of the audience or conversation about that song.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cEvery night I\u2019m thinking about how the world now is going to react to this moment that I\u2019ll have with whoever I\u2019m choosing to sing to. But it was a pop moment, and it was fun to have at least conversation going and we just keep it light. I don\u2019t see anything negative happening in Las Vegas.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
