Britney Spears<\/a> is letting her fans in on how she\u2019s feeling in the wake of her split from husband Sam Asghari.<\/p>\n

The \u201cPiece of Me\u201d singer, who wed the actor in June 2022 following the end of her 13-year conservatorship<\/a>, took to Instagram<\/a> on Friday night to share a video of herself dancing. The caption alluded to the breakup news<\/a>, which came after Asghari filed for divorce from Spears<\/a>, citing \u201cirreconcilable differences.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAs everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together \u2026 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I\u2019m a little shocked but \u2026 I\u2019m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody\u2019s business !!! But, I couldn\u2019t take the pain anymore honestly,\u201d she wrote. \u201cIn some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!! I\u2019ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it\u2019s far from reality and I think we all know that !!!\u201d<\/p>\n

The Crossroads <\/em>actress added that she would \u201clove to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but some reason I\u2019ve always had to hide my weaknesses,\u201d noting, \u201cif I wasn\u2019t my dad\u2019s strong soldier, I would be sent away to places to get fixed by doctors.\u201d Spears\u2019 father Jamie was her conservator until Sept. 2021, when he was removed from the role<\/a> after the pop star accused him of abusing his position<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re supposed to be loved unconditionally \u2026 not under conditions,\u201d she continued. \u201cSo I will be as strong as I can and do my best !!! And I\u2019m actually doing pretty damn good !!! Anyways have a good day and don\u2019t forget to smile !!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Asghari shared a message about the split<\/a> on Thursday, writing, “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together. We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always. S**t happ<\/a>ens.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
