Cardi B has made a name for herself as one of the most sex-positive female rapp<\/a>ers in the game<\/a> today, and that\u2019s because she\u2019s unashamed of her strip<\/a>per past.<\/p>\n

The \u201cBodak Yellow\u201d rapper took to Twitter<\/a> on Saturday (August 19) to post a throwback photo of her days in the strip club in the Bronx.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you met me in the strip club\u2026would you still cuff me?\u201d she asked fans, though she subsequently deleted the post.<\/p>\n

Before becoming a worldwide superstar,\u00a0Cardi B\u00a0made a name for herself working the pole all over jiggle joints in New York City. Some may think she\u2019s forgotten about her stripping roots thanks to her music success, but that\u2019s not the case.<\/p>\n

Back in June, the 30-year-old jumped on Twitter to let fans know the stripper life is still very much a part of her. According to the Bronx rapper, every time she frequents a strip joint, she still finds herself contemplating how much money she could make if she were still dancing.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time I go to a strip club I start calculating in my head how much I would of made that night if I was still stripping,\u201d she confessed. \u201cI don\u2019t know why \u2026.I just automatically do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite being a long way away from her strip club days, Cardi B still has the moves, as fans have seen in various music videos such as \u201cUp\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cWAP\u201d\u00a0alongside\u00a0Megan Thee Stallion.<\/p>\n

When she isn\u2019t mentally calculating the money she could make from dancing, Cardi makes sure to speak up for those still stripping.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Joe Budden spoke about the alleged discrimination against dark-skinned dancers\u00a0and Cardi wasted no time backing up his claims.<\/p>\n

\u201cFunny thing u say that because when I was a dancer certain clubs wouldn\u2019t let me work on \u2018Latin nights\u2019 cause apparently I didn\u2019t look Spanish enough wit my braids!\u201d she tweeted. \u201cI even spoke about strip club & colorism b4.\u201d<\/p>\n

The conversation didn\u2019t stop there as someone claimed\u00a0that Cardi B\u00a0was trying to look like a black girl with her braids around that time, prompting the\u00a0Invasion of Privacy<\/em>\u00a0rapper to clap back.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow was I try to look like a black chick? Before I had money to buy real good wigs I had to wear styles for my hair texture,\u201d she replied. \u201cWorking in a strip club with a blow out or a leave out wig just so you can sweat it out in 5 minutes.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlso in NYC clubs dark skin women get it always worst tan Colored woman also don\u2019t meet the standards of these promoters if you don\u2019t have certain features or a certain type of look.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
