Lil Wop has announced that he\u2019s changed his mind about getting gender transition surgery.<\/p>\n

The ex-Gucci Mane affiliate took to his Twitter<\/a> account on Friday (August 18) to announce this change of plans, but also insisted that he would still be dressing up in women\u2019s clothing and that he was still a gay man.<\/p>\n

\u201cI ain\u2019t transition no more the bad bitches & the trans bitches need a real n-gga like me,\u201d he wrote. \u201cAnd just to clarify I\u2019m not saying I\u2019m not gay or I\u2019m not gone be dressing up I\u2019m just not fully transition.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lil Wop (real name Louis McPherson) first made the brave decision to transition to a woman back in May, when he took to his Instagram to announce his plans.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn The Transition Into Becoming A Full Transgender,\u201d he wrote in his caption while revealing a newer look than the one his fans had been used to prior to this post.<\/p>\n

The post, however, has since been deleted, and Lil Wop \u2014 who was using they\/them pronouns at the time and then shifted to she\/her\/hers pronouns \u2014 now uses he\/him\/his pronouns.<\/p>\n

While Lil Wop is not the first rapp<\/a>er to come out as trans,\u00a0he\u2019s been dropping hints that he\u2019s not a cis-hetero male for quite some time now.<\/p>\n

Back in February 2022, the Chicago-via-Atlanta rapper \u2014 who was previously signed to Gucci Mane\u2019s 1017 Eskimos imprint \u2014 revealed he is bisexual. The \u201cLike a Savage\u201d lyricist made the announcement on his Instagram on February 13.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m Bisexual I Like Guys & Girls It\u2019s W.E.,\u201d Wop wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of him in pigtails with his midriff showing.<\/p>\n

The rapper\u2019s most recent release was 2021\u2019s featureless mixtape\u00a0Say Cheese<\/em>, which was gothic and rock-influenced. In a 2017 interview with The FADER<\/a><\/em>, Wop said he considers himself a rockstar more than a rapper.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, my music is rock,\u201d he said. \u201cYou can lose your mind, you gon\u2019 go crazy to it. It\u2019s rock-hard banging, not soft rock & roll but hard rock. I made my own shit, my own style. So what you see going on: it\u2019s Lil Wop.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Wop hasn\u2019t done many interviews recently, he has been working on new music. He recently dropped off his latest singles \u201cGlo\u201d and \u201cWoke Up,\u201d both of which he revealed were self-produced. The rapper also revealed the title of his next project\u00a0Till Your Blocked<\/em>, and asked his fans on Instagram if they were ready for new music, implying that more was coming.<\/p>\n
