Electric cars are heavier than most thanks to huge battery packs, plus many models on the street have insane levels of torque. Electric vehicles are far more efficient than ICE vehicles in terms of power delivery, but that also means that small things like tire pressure, tread pattern, and rolling resistance makes a huge difference to overall range.
