{"id":588579,"date":"2023-08-26T04:13:10","date_gmt":"2023-08-26T01:13:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/legionnaires-disease-cases-traced-to-two-las-vegas-hotels\/"},"modified":"2023-08-26T04:13:10","modified_gmt":"2023-08-26T01:13:10","slug":"legionnaires-disease-cases-traced-to-two-las-vegas-hotels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/legionnaires-disease-cases-traced-to-two-las-vegas-hotels\/","title":{"rendered":"#Legionnaires\u2019 disease cases traced to two Las Vegas hotels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/AP430066862448.jpeg?w=900\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) announced on Thursday it is looking into three cases of Legionnaires\u2019 disease in guests who stayed at two Las Vegas hotels recently.<\/p>\n<p>In two <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org\/news-release\/southern-nevada-health-district-conducting-legionnaires-disease-investigation-at-caesars-palace-hotel-and-casino\/\">separate<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org\/news-release\/southern-nevada-health-district-conducting-legionnaires-disease-investigation-at-the-orleans-hotel-casino\/\">releases<\/a>, the SNHD said it looking into \u201ctwo <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a>-associated cases of Legionnaires\u2019 disease in guests who stayed at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino\u201d and one \u201ctravel-associated case of Legionnaires\u2019 disease in a guest that stayed at The Orleans Hotel &amp; Casino.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>Legionnaires\u2019 disease is a serious type of pneumonia caused by the Legionella\u00a0bacteria.<\/p>\n<p>The SNHD said guests who visited the hotels from Aug 1. on and \u201cexperienced symptoms up to 14 days after their stay\u201d can report their illness to the Health District. The Caesars Palace release also featured an end date of Aug. 23 as the time period during which guests should be wary of the disease.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSymptoms of Legionnaires\u2019 disease will usually begin within two to 10 days after exposure to the bacteria.
