{"id":589072,"date":"2023-08-29T21:00:32","date_gmt":"2023-08-29T18:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/busta-rhymes-names-his-favorite-underrated-rapper\/"},"modified":"2023-08-29T21:00:32","modified_gmt":"2023-08-29T18:00:32","slug":"busta-rhymes-names-his-favorite-underrated-rapper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/busta-rhymes-names-his-favorite-underrated-rapper\/","title":{"rendered":"#Busta Rhymes Names His Favorite &#8216;Underrated&#8217; Rapper"},"content":{"rendered":"<div itemprop=\"articleBody\">Busta Rhymes is known for being a beast on the microphone, but even he\u2019s self-aware enough to know that there are other MCs with a skill level as intimidating as his own.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday (August 28), <em><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spin.com\/2023\/08\/famous-rappers-name-underrated-rappers\/\">SPIN<\/a><\/em> published an article titled \u201cFamous R<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ers Name Their Favorite Underrated Rappers.\u201d Whereas most artists featured on the list reeled off several names, with some even going into great detail, Busta kept it succinct as he seemed to have his answer ready.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRoc Marciano,\u201d he said. \u201cA lot of people are scared to rhyme with him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both spitters go way back in the NYC Hip Hop scene. Roc Marci was once a member of Busta\u2019s collective, Flipmode Squad, in the late \u201990s and early \u201900s, during which time he was even featured on Busta\u2019s <em>Anarchy<\/em> album.<\/p>\n<p>The Brooklyn rap legend previously heaped high praise on the Long Island native in 2018, placing him in his Top 5 rappers of all time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I say Roc Marci is my Top 5 MC ever, there\u2019s a whole lot of <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a> behind that,\u201d Busta said during the rapper\u2019s show at Manhattan\u2019s Highline Ballroom. \u201cThe God Roc Marciano is a godsend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cThe precision, his ability to be an incredible architect with words. The man is a craftsman with the pen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Heist (feat. Raekwon the Chef, Ghostface Killa, Roc-Marciano)\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-y91j--pIKw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Throughout <em>SPIN<\/em>\u2018s celebratory, Hip Hop 50-themed piece, many other rappers brought attention to their favorite unsung heroes \u2014 some predictable and others entirely unexpected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy favorite underrated rapper is Curren$y,\u201d Jermaine Dupri said. \u201cAlthough he took a different path, it became a whole new path for more rappers with the same mindset.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s very camouflage. It\u2019s the same shit poppin\u2019, the same flossin\u2019 and the same level of braggadocious. It\u2019s even more fly than whoever your favorite is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bun B also kept it bar-centered, saying: \u201cMy favorite underrated rapper would be Boldy James. His continuous output of high-quality work paired with distinct collaborations with some of the best in the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> is a credit to his focus on creating the best product possible for himself and his fans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bay Area native G-Eazy, like a lot of rappers from the region, made it a point to show that he is who is because of where he\u2019s from. Unsurprisingly, he said: \u201cIt would have to be E-40, one of the greatest who ever did it and got away with it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot only a pillar and a king of the bay but also the whole west coast for that matter. He\u2019s one of the most prolific artists we\u2019ve ever seen and an originator of so much of the slang and culture we hear and see every day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Saba, on the other hand, paid tribute to Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def), who he said has \u201chistorically been great the whole time; legendary freestyles, great beat selection, great singing voice, good albums. He\u2019s just a big historical figure that needs to be respected as such.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd he\u2019s still flyer than most rappers. I feel like the older the man gets, the flyer he gets. Great acting career, too. Yeah, I\u2019m gonna go with Yasiin Bey. Can we get him? Is he available?
