Internal communications reviewed by The FADER seem to confirm the label\u2019s decision to release the record on schedule next Friday without promotion.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> came a week after a screenshot of a transphobic <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a> comment by Murphy was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/joannacuddle\/status\/1694324286301831173\">shared on Twitter<\/a>, causing backlash against the Irish pop artist in the LGBTQ community and beyond. This Tuesday, six days after the post became public, Murphy issued a statement apologizing \u201cfor being the reason for this eruption of damaging and potentially dangerous social-media fire and brimstone,\u201d but not addressing her specific contention that puberty blockers \u2014 medications prescribed to delay a child\u2019s pubescent development if their gender identity does not match their sex \u2014 are \u201cfucked [and] absolutely desolate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>            The <i>Star<\/i>\u2019s source, a publicist who works with Ninja Tune, also spoke to The FADER, confirming that the information came from internal communications that he\u2019d believed he was authorized to share publicly at the time. \u201cThe official line right now is that [Ninja Tune] are taking actions at the label,\u201d he told The FADER. \u201cThey\u2019re getting their ducks in a row, and they will be announcing their next steps.\u201d He later clarified that the company was \u201cstill figuring out a way to publicly address this in a way that will not leave them legally exposed.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            The publicist expressed ambivalence about the label\u2019s reaction to the controversy. \u201cI am optimistic that actions are being taken and that we will see a definitive move any moment. But at the same time, I mean, it\u2019s been seven, eight days now, and there\u2019s been [journalists] asking for comment this whole time and rightfully so,\u201d he added. \u201c It\u2019s my intention to continue working with [Ninja Tune]. But\u2026 I think that this is gonna be a defining moment for all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>            Representatives of Ninja Tune did not immediately return The FADER\u2019s request for comment.
