The source noted it\u2019s \u201cweirder\u201d as well, adding that it \u201chasn\u2019t been Disney-fied\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a visual album movie, but it\u2019s like an art film, and I\u2019ve also heard it\u2019s better than <em>Black Is King<\/em>,\u201d the source reportedly said.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the album dropping a year ago in August 2022, no visuals have been released \u2013 and many fans have speculated that a visual album existed but could not be sold. The source confirmed that to the outlet, saying <em>Renaissance<\/em> was viewed by select studios and streamers between four and six months ago, but they passed at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m guessing the price and lack of replay value for the casual viewer,\u201d they said. \u201cOr maybe Beyonc\u00e9 didn\u2019t like how it turned out? I don\u2019t know\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Bey\u2019s Renaissance World Tour hits Los Angeles on Friday (September 1) and Saturday (September 2), with DJ Khaled serving as the opening act. <\/p>\n<p>Khaled made the announcement in an Instagram post on Wednesday (August 30) along with a video of himself getting fan and paparazzi love.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR WE ON OUR WAY !\u201d he captioned the clip. \u201cCan\u2019t wait to open up for the Queen in LA Sep 1st and Sep 2nd!
