Shaquille O\u2019Neal always goes hard in the paint \u2014 literally and figuratively \u2014 and his latest rap feature demonstrates why he has such a dominant presence in the entertainment space.<\/p>\n

On Friday (September 1), Los Angeles Hip Hop duo Coyote dropped a new single with the former Lakers center and it was as triumphant a homecoming as the three championships he won the city during his prime.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing 2 Mexican kids from LA this was a special moment,\u201d Coyote wrote on their social media<\/a>. \u201cWE BROUGHT @SHAQ BACK TO LA!!\u201d<\/p>\n

On the same day as the song\u2019s release, MCs Ladies Love Guapo and Ricky Blanco sat down for a chat with TMZ<\/em><\/a> and discussed how they brought the Diesel collaboration to fruition.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Shaq] was like as long as it\u2019s some hardcore stuff, I\u2019m down,\u201d Guapo explained. \u201cSo we made a hardcore Hip Hop \u201990s-type song and we\u2019re like, \u2018Bro, let\u2019s send it to Shaq,\u2019 and he got on it, did his thing, he spit like 32 bars. He went off!\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cFour hours later he FaceTimes us and he shows us his verse and he went crazy! He\u2019s rapp<\/a>ing better than 90 percent of rappers out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

The big man is no stranger to Hip Hop. From early in his career, he was tapped into the culture and has sporadically participated in it as an artist over the past few decades. Most recently, he even shared a freestyle about trying to track down a Home Depot worker who went viral a few months back.<\/p>\n

Ariana Josephine a.k.a. the \u201cHome Depot Girl\u201d started making waves on social media<\/a> in June for both her videos and her profession, and Shaq took a moment to slide into Josephine\u2019s DMs<\/a> after she received backlash for allegedly shading sex workers.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t let them peopl [sic] bother u,\u201d O\u2019Neal wrote to Ariana, according to screenshots shared by The Legion of Hoops<\/em>. \u201cDon\u2019t read the comments stuff like that will drive you crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Josephine said she was grateful for O\u2019Neal\u2019s kind words, to which the NBA legend replied: \u201cHave a great day tell all your boyfriends I said hello lol.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shaq then took it one step further in a hilarious Instagram video<\/a> in which he attempted to track her down at her place of business, all while rapping about how he\u2019s been slept on his entire career.<\/p>\n

Donning Home Depot\u2019s signature orange apron, the basketball legend took over the store, towering above the isles as he promoted his new DJ Diesel song, \u201cI Know I Got It.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shaq wrote in the caption: \u201cJUST LAUGH PEOPLE, and have a wonderful day.\u201d<\/p>\n

People seemed to be feeling the track for the most part, including Anderson .Paak, who commented: \u201cOUTSTANDING.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
