DJ Envy has confronted Tyrese face to face over \u201cdisrespectful\u201d comments the actor made toward his wife in the past.<\/p>\n

The Fast & Furious<\/em> star pulled up to The Breakfast Club<\/a><\/em> on Thursday (September 7) where he posed a question to Envy and Charlamagne The God that sparked a discussion, while also rehashing some issues in their relationship.<\/p>\n

While Tyrese\u2019s messy divorce and mental health issues have made headlines in recent years, he wondered where the outreach was from someone like Envy, whom he considered a friend and helped when the radio host had his own marital issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we talk on these private chats that have nothing to do with the public, but who you were and how you speak and how you talk about the people next to you, I didn\u2019t respect it,\u201d Envy began.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the point where I blocked you on my chat because I didn\u2019t want to see Tyrese as that. That wasn\u2019t the man that was my brother.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyrese copped to not \u201cremembering anything\u201d that he said during that time period as he was on a series<\/a> of psych meds.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you get drunk, do you hold your boy to what he\u2019s saying while he\u2019s drunk?\u201d the actor asked. \u201cDo you hold anybody to what they\u2019re doing knowing that this is their usual self?\u201d<\/p>\n

Envy responded by saying that he wanted to remember Tyrese for who he was before.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never had a conversation with you because I never wanted to see you like that,\u201d he said. \u201cThe person who spoke to my wife during that time with texts, I didn\u2019t like that. And I wanted to remember Tyrese as a brother that helped my relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot the Tyrese that was going through it, so I took a step back. I didn\u2019t know what you were going through and I tried to talk to you and I seen who you were. When I seen how you were talking this way, I said I\u2019m gonna take a step back.\u201d<\/p>\n
