Adelekan is perhaps best known for his role as the touring bassist in Gorillaz, though today the London-based artist is stepping out with a new solo single called \u201cHomerton Ocean View.\u201d A euphoric fusion of bossa nova and progressive R&amp;B melodies, the second single from Adelekan\u2019s forthcoming EP <i>The River<\/i> positions romantic love as a deep and cool oasis.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            \u201cI moved to Homerton in November just before heading to Iceland where I wrote this song,\u201d Adelekan says in a press statement. \u201cIt was the mixed feelings of being in winter time, feeling the lack of sun but being in love with my partner and still finding that summer feeling in the darkness.
