Chris Brown has fired back at Tinashe for daring to express her displeasure with recording \u201cPlayer\u201d with him in the early days of her career.<\/p>\n

In a comment left on The Shade Room<\/em>\u2018s Instagram on Saturday (September 17), the embattled R&B star snarked that no one would know who the \u201cAll Hands on Deck\u201d singer was if she hadn\u2019t recorded the song with him.<\/p>\n

\u201cNAME 5 TINASHE SONGS OR DIE\u2026[eyes emoji],\u201d he wrote. \u201cEVERYBODY DEAD [skull emoji].\u201d<\/p>\n

The comment comes just a few days after Tinashe expressed regret over her past collaborations with both Brown and R. Kelly.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday (September 12), the \u201c2 On\u201d singer reflected on working with the men who both have been accused of abuse while in a conversation on the\u00a0Zach Sang Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Both collabs arrived in 2015 in the early days of Tinashe\u2019s career, with the Breezy-assisted \u201cPlayer\u201d coming just before the R. Kelly-assisted \u201cLet\u2019s Be Real Now.\u201d Both tracks were orchestrated by her then-label RCA Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou think I wanted to [do those songs]?\u201d she began. \u201cI literally block out that R. Kelly song from my mind. I forget that it even exists. That is so embarrassing. That is so unreal that I even have a song with R. Kelly. That\u2019s so embarrassing. Yes that was labely! And I was so young too. I feel like I did that song when I just signed to that label. I was probably like 20. That was crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cYou [lack a lot of control in that situation.] And especially when it comes to singles like the song with Chris \u2013 that was a song that we all wanted to be this big moment, this big single.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I feel like in [the label\u2019s] mind, they were like, \u2018You need the support.\u2019 And he was like their biggest artist that they had on rhythmic radio at the time. And to me, I was like, \u2018Well this is a pop song. So I really don\u2019t feel like we should put Chris on it. That doesn\u2019t compute to me.\u2019 But I don\u2019t know!\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Tinashe has spoken about Chris Brown following their collab. In 2016, the\u00a0singer unfollowed him\u00a0after he\u00a0called out Kehlani for posting about her suicide attempt on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Admitting it in an interview shortly afterward, Tinashe said: \u201cIt\u2019s not a big deal to me. I don\u2019t think that follows on Twitter are a big deal. That\u2019s just me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
