I trust you and feel like you will do right by me and my story\u2026\u2026\/\/. I\u2019m still to this day so moved by the gesture that I won\u2019t rest until it\u2019s done\u2026.. The outlet also reported that Tyrese had teamed up with <em>Empire<\/em> producer Lee Daniels to produce, and that Joan Pendergrass was slated to be the executive producer.<\/p>\n<p>The film, however, didn\u2019t have a name or a production start date at that time.<\/p>\n<p>Now, according to <em><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2023\/09\/29\/tyrese-gibson-company-voltron-entertainment-sues-over-teddy-pendergrass-biopic\/\">TMZ<\/a><\/em>, Tyrese is suing Joan Pendergrass because, he alleges, Teddy\u2019s widow refused to extend the option on the rights to Teddy\u2019s story back in 2022.
