Tory Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for the July 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, and has been given some advice by someone who is familiar with his current reality.<\/p>\n

In an interview with 360 Plug Hype<\/em>, West Coast rapp<\/a>er Spider Loc gave the incarcerated Toronto native some pointers on how to move around in the California prison system.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s going to have a whole bunch of attention,\u201d the former Death Row and G-Unit affiliate said. \u201cAll eyes on him. Not only from the inmates, but from the police. Just be cool, be himself, he should be alright, man.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not much of a bully factor that could affect him, unless he try to get involved in things that don\u2019t concern him. He just run his program, go from A to B, and do what he\u2019s there to do, he should be alright. People are going to more so appreciate that he right there, than not.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cNow, if he come out of his element and try to dibble and dabble into shit that\u2019s not his business, he can sure have an issue. And depending on how scared he his, he gotta be careful of getting finessed into a relationship that he really don\u2019t desire to be in too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spider Loc, who has spent time in prison himself, also questioned Tory Lanez\u2019s conviction, claiming there was enough \u201creasonable doubt\u201d in the case for him to be found not guilty.<\/p>\n

However, he also questioned some of Tory\u2019s decisions throughout the ordeal, saying: \u201cI think he shouldn\u2019t have been on that phone apologizing either, though. I think he should have took the stand and let his mouth piece go to work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tory Lanez is currently being housed at North Kern State Prison in Delano, California. Last month, reports suggested that he was \u201cscared for his life\u201d inside the facility, which has seen multiple murders this year alone.<\/p>\n

\u201cTory is scared for his life and safety in prison,\u201d a source told Page Six<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0\u201cHe feels like he is an instant and direct target because of his celebrity status.\u201d<\/p>\n

They added: \u201cHe stands in at 5-foot-3, so his size is definitely a setback. He is housed with real hardcore criminals, murderers. So he is really hoping that his lawyers will be able to continue to fight for his freedom while still maintaining his innocence. The whole thing is a mess.\u201d<\/p>\n

But shortly after, the \u201cSay It\u201d rapper sent a message out to his fans letting them know that he was \u201cin great spirits\u201d behind bars.<\/p>\n

\u201cAyo Umbrellas, what\u2019s good, I\u2019m talking to you live from prison right now,\u201d he said in an audio clip posted to Instagram. \u201cMan. I\u2019m just happy to get out of that county jail. They was hating on a young fly, you heard? Had me on 24-hour lockdown. Half-sized cell by myself. No windows, no mirrors. Ain\u2019t even seen himself in a whole year, yo.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cBut with all them disadvantages against me, my head is always been held high, man. And I want y\u2019all to know that I\u2019m in great spirits.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
