\n Rush Hour<\/em> director Brett Ratner has reportedly immigrated to Israel.<\/p>\n

\n On Tuesday, The Jerusalem Post<\/em>\u2018s Walla<\/em> news site reported<\/a> that Ratner posted to his Instagram Story a clip of an Israeli immigration certificate and national insurance documents. He captioned the clip in Hebrew, \u201cBrett Shai Ratner.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> has reached out to Ratner\u2019s company RatPac Entertainment for comment.<\/p>\n

\n The X-Men: The Last Stand<\/em> filmmaker is friendly with Israel\u2019s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and last month met with him in New York during Netanyahu\u2019s visit to the United Nations for the 78th General<\/a> Assembly. Israeli media<\/a> reports that Ratner and Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz were Netanyahu\u2019s guests during his speech to the General Assembly. On his Instagram, the filmmaker posted a picture of himself with Netanyahu, Sara Netanyahu and Dershowitz. <\/p>\n

\n The scandal-plagued director\u2019s Hollywood career has stalled since he was accused in October 2017, during the Me Too movement, of sexual misconduct by multiple women. In a Los Angeles Times<\/em> report<\/a>, six women, including actresses Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge, made allegations against Ratner. Henstridge, who starred in the Species<\/em> trilogy, said that Ratner forced her to perform oral sex on him in his New York apartment in the 1990s. Munn said that Ratner masturbated in front of her when she visited him on the set of the 2004 movie After the Sunset. <\/em>Ratner denied the allegations. <\/p>\n

\n In April 2018, Warner Bros. severed ties with Ratner, choosing not to renew its deal with his RatPac-Dune Entertainment, which had a $450 million slate financing facility that covered costs on some of the studio\u2019s biggest projects. <\/p>\n

\n In June 2018, Ratner lobbied to direct a fourth installment of the Rush Hour<\/em> franchise, but was rebuffed by Warner Bros. The filmmaker\u2019s name also popped up in THR<\/em>\u2018s March 2019 seismic investigation of Warner Bros. exec Kevin Tsujihara\u2019s relationship with British actress Charlotte Kirk.<\/p>\n

\n Ratner attempted a comeback in 2021 with talk of him helming a biopic of fraudulent R&B duo Milli Vanili. But the project came to nothing after significant pushback from Time\u2019s Up, with the organization putting out a statement that \u201cthere should be no comeback\u201d for Ratner. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
