{"id":593308,"date":"2023-10-05T16:31:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-05T13:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/biden-dog-commander-no-longer-at-white-house-after-multiple-biting-incidents\/"},"modified":"2023-10-05T16:31:00","modified_gmt":"2023-10-05T13:31:00","slug":"biden-dog-commander-no-longer-at-white-house-after-multiple-biting-incidents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/biden-dog-commander-no-longer-at-white-house-after-multiple-biting-incidents\/","title":{"rendered":"#Biden dog Commander no longer at White House after multiple biting incidents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/10\/AP23119611978538-e1696512482132.jpg?w=900\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>President Biden\u2019s dog Commander is no longer at the White House following multiple biting incidents involving staffers and U.S. Secret Service officers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe President and First Lady care deeply about the safety of those who work at the White House and those who protect them every day,\u201d Elizabeth Alexander, first lady Jill Biden\u2019s communications director said in a statement to The Hill. \u201cThey remain grateful for the patience and support of the U.S. Secret Service and all involved, as they continue to work through solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>\u201cCommander is not presently on the White House campus while next steps are evaluated,\u201d Alexander added.<\/p>\n<p>She did not disclose where the two-year-old German Shepherd was sent.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier Wednesday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about a new allegation that Commander had bitten a White House staffer. She referred questions to the First Lady\u2019s office, which said Commander and Dale Haney, the head groundskeeper at the White House, were playing and that no skin was broken. <\/p>\n<p>Commander\u2019s reported departure follows a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of biting incidents that injured Secret Service officers. <\/p>\n<p>Late last month, the Secret Service confirmed Commander bit another agent, marking the 11th known biting incident. At the time, the White House said the Biden family was working with Secret Service and executive residence staff on more leashing protocols and training, in addition to designating areas for the dog to run and exercise. <\/p>\n<p>Judicial Watch, a conservative legal activist group, obtained emails in July that detailed 10 alleged attacks by Commander from October 2022 through January 2023.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr2_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>According to the emails, Commander bit an officer last November, forcing them to \u201cuse a steel cart to [shield] themself \u201cfrom another attack.\u201d The officer had injuries on both the upper right arm and the thigh and was \u201cin a considerable amount of pain,\u201d the email said. <\/p>\n<p>Commander is the second of Biden\u2019s dogs to be involved in biting incidents.
