Can\u2019t wait for this to h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en,\u201d Musk\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1710030124735762891\">wrote on X<\/a>\u00a0in response to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> of the SEC suing him.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The SEC is\u00a0accusing Musk\u00a0of failing to comply with a subpoena as part of its investigation over his purchase of Twitter last year. The agency had launched its probe into the billionaire\u2019s purchase of Twitter in 2022 and was tasked with investigating whether any person or entities violated any federal security laws.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe SEC has followed all appropriate administrative steps required in seeking Musk\u2019s testimony. In the face of Musk\u2019s blatant refusal to comply with the SEC\u2019s subpoena, the SEC now asks the Court to intervene and compel Musk\u2019s compliance,\u201d the SEC\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.cand.419113\/gov.uscourts.cand.419113.1.0.pdf\">wrote in a filing<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Musk had previously appeared for two half-day sessions for a testimony, but the SEC says he has declined to testify again. The SEC has requested additional testimony because it has received \u201cthousands of new documents,\u201d including \u201chundreds of new documents produced by Musk,\u201d according to the lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMusk\u2019s ongoing refusal to comply with the SEC\u2019s administrative subpoena is hindering and delaying the SEC staff\u2019s investigation to determine whether violations of the federal securities laws have occurred.
