President Biden will sit for an interview with \u201c60 Minutes\u201d this weekend amid growing violence the Middle East and Europe. <\/p>\n
News<\/a> of the interview was confirmed by Wendy McMahon, President and CEO of CBS News, during an interview at an Axios event on Thursday. <\/p>\n The network, in a social media<\/a> post promoting the planned sit down, said the interview would take place at The White House and be conducted by correspondent Scott Pelley and focus on \u201cthe situations in Israel, Gaza, and Ukraine.\u201d <\/p>\n Biden last sat for an interview with CBS\u2019 flagship weekly news and feature program last fall<\/a>, when he spoke on inflation, the war in Ukraine and confirmed he intended to seek a second term in the White House. <\/p>\n Biden has pledged support of Israel, which this week suffered a deadly attack at the hands of militant group Hamas, which the U.S. has designated as a terrorist organization. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Copyright 2023 Nexstar Media Inc.
