Tom Seaver. The Franchise. Tom Terrific.<\/p>\n

No matter what name he went by, Seaver, who died on Monday at the age of 75, was a New York Mets legend.<\/p>\n

In his 10 seasons in Queens, Seaver won a franchise-record 198 game<\/a>s, the 1967 NL Rookie of the Year award and three Cy Youngs. He solidified his place in Mets history with a dazzling performance during the 1969 Miracle Mets\u2019 run to the World Series<\/a> title.<\/p>\n
