\n Dwayne Johnson has responded to a widely criticized wax figure of the Black Adam<\/em> star that was unveiled at a Paris museum. <\/p>\n

\n The Mus\u00e9e Gr\u00e9vin \u2014 a museum specializing in wax figures of famous people \u2014 recently revealed their attempt at a likeness of the Samoan actor. The statue\u2019s skin tone is notably lighter than Johnson\u2019s, causing some to accuse the museum of \u201cwhitewashing\u201d the actor.\u201d Also, the figure\u2019s face looks creepily Botox-smooth, with fans saying<\/a> they made him look like Mr. Clean (or, perhaps even more insultingly, like his Fast and Furious<\/em> rival Vin Diesel). <\/p>\n

\n Johnson has now weighed in on the issue, posting on Instagram<\/a> Sunday night: \u201cFor the record, I\u2019m going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum, in Paris France so we can work at \u2018updating\u2019 my wax figure here with some important details and improvements \u2014 starting with my skin color. And next time I\u2019m in Paris, I\u2019ll stop in and have a drink with myself.\u201d (Edited for excessive emoji use). <\/p>\n

\n The 51-year-old Johnson said he also app<\/a>reciated comedia<\/a>n James Andre Jefferson\u2019s roasting of the figure. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cI\u2019m low-key offended,\u201d Jefferson said in a viral clip. \u201cHow are you just going to take all of the [n-word] out of the Dwayne Johnson? It looks like he works at H&R Block or something \u2026 Is this how y\u2019all felt when you lost The Little Mermaid<\/em>? I understand. Let\u2019s do Google reverse, y\u2019all get the Little Mermaid<\/em> back, we get The Rock back \u2026 You know black-ass Samoan The Rock? That\u2019s how Paris thinks he looks.
