href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/sia-sues-identity-thief-1234860914\/\">Sia<\/a> has filed a lawsuit against an alleged identity thief she claims is pretending to be her in order to gain access to her unreleased material, <i><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/sia-sues-identity-thief-1234860914\/\">Rolling Stone<\/a><\/i> reports. <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            The unidentified defendant is believed to be living in Calfornia and has been contacting people in the music industry pretending to be Sia. Per the lawsuit, they have been asking these people to send them music that is yet to be released by the &#8220;Chandelier&#8221; singer. <\/p>\n<p>            The lawsuit explains that the &#8220;defendant has emailed a number of persons in the music industry with whom the plaintiff is acquainted, including California residents, identifying him or herself as plaintiff, using an email address containing plaintiff\u2019s name and fraudulently asking the acquaintances to send the person recordings of plaintiff performing that are not publicly available.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            Sia is seeking damages plus legal fees for the email scam, identity theft, and invasion of privacy.
