The 2022 visual novel AQUARIUM<\/em>, which stars hololive\u2019s game<\/a>r maid VTuber Minato Aqua<\/strong>, is now available on Steam with English interface and subtitle options.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

AQUARIUM<\/em>, which was originally released for PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan, is a romance visual novel developed by ENTERGRAM<\/strong> that casts players as the partially amnesiac young Master of the Francois family. In the story, Minato is a new maid who is assigned to the Master so that he can train his leadership skills, with love blossoming in the process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Below is the game\u2019s full synopsis:<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the summer story of Aqua \u2013 a beginning maid carrying a secret \u2013 and her master (the player) who lost part of his memory.<\/span><\/em>
The young Master, heir to the Francois family, has the same nightmare every night.<\/span><\/em>
In it, he meets a girl, but they always end up quarreling and parting ways with the words \u201cI hate you\u201d ringing in his ears.<\/span><\/em>
But just who is this girl\u2026?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

One summer\u2019s day, the young Master\u2019s elder sister tells him that in order to prepare for succeeding to the Francois family estate, he is to practice his leadership abilities.<\/span><\/em>
To do that, his sister wishes for him to take a new maid under his wing so that he can guide and help her grow.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI am the new maid, Aqua. From today, I will be responsible for your well-being, Master.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The young Master immediately finds his heart drawn to Aqua, the new, clumsy maid who is burdened by a certain \u201csecret\u201d she cannot speak of. However, the two are separated from one another by an insurmountable wall\u2014their social<\/a> strata.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

What shadow looms over the two as they face challenges and the opposition of society itself?<\/span><\/em>
This is the pure summer love story of two individuals from completely different walks of life.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Aside from Minato, AQUARIUM<\/em>\u00a0stars her fellow Hololive colleagues Houshou Marine<\/strong> and Shirakami Fubuki<\/strong> as as the Master\u2019s other maid and older sister, respectively. Minato, who also produced the visual novel, won Best Actor at the Famitsu\/Dengeki Game Awards 2022 for her role.<\/span><\/p>\n

AQUARIUM<\/em>\u2018s Steam version is priced at US$20.46 in the US. Earlier this year, there were pre-orders for special made-to-order physical Windows editions in Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n
