\n The latest trailer for Godzilla Minus One<\/em> dropped on Friday morning, and in the clip, we get a closer look at the awesome scale of the iconic kaiju that\u2019s wreaking havoc in post-war Japan. <\/p>\n

\n The 37th installment in Toho\u2019s long-running monster franchise, the film, which was the closing film at the Tokyo International Film Festival, is a period piece and shows Godzilla app<\/a>earing as Japan struggles to recover after WW2. <\/p>\n

\n Godzilla Minus One<\/em> is written and directed by noted CG animator and VFX artist Takashi Yamazaki (Lupin III: The First<\/em>, The Great War of Archimedes<\/em>). The film stars Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Hidetaka Yoshioka, Sakura Ando, and Kuranosuke Sasaki.<\/p>\n

\n The film is Yamazaki\u2019s third on-screen depiction of Godzilla, following his previous use of the character with CG imagery in Always: Sunset on Third Street 2 <\/em>(2007) and Seibu-en\u2019s Godzilla the Ride<\/em> (2021).<\/p>\n

\n Toho International will release the film in North America in November, with Anime<\/a> Ltd releasing the film in the U.K. and Ireland.<\/p>\n
