Jeezy has shed new light on the dissolution of his marriage to his soon-to-be ex-wife, Jeannie Mai, revealing that even therapy couldn\u2019t save their relationship.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday (November 7), the Atlanta rapp<\/a>er sat down for a candid, hour-long interview with actress Nia Long to promote his new double album I Might Forgive\u2026 But I Don\u2019t Forget<\/em>, where he shared why he feels his marriage with the talk show host isn\u2019t salvageable.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis has not been an easy journey,\u201d Jeezy admitted. \u201cI can tell you that I\u2019m saddened. I can tell you that I\u2019m disappointed. I can tell you that I\u2019m uneasy.<\/p>\n

\u201cAgain, God has put me in a different path. And that path is going to entail for me to take care or myself and to love myself and to be in the best situation that I can thrive as someone who has been through all the things that I\u2019ve been through.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the same breath, the 46-year-old explained that he and Mai attempted to mend their marriage by way of therapy but were unsuccessful in their efforts.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can only be responsible for myself. I can only do what I can do,\u201d he added. \u201cI can\u2019t expect someone else to do what I\u2019m doing.\u201d<\/p>\n
