Kodak Black has faced a lot of backlash in the past, but he\u2019s now promised to change his ways in the wake of dropping a new project.<\/p>\n

On Friday (November 10), Kodak released the 18-track album\u00a0When I Was Dead<\/em><\/a> \u2014 a follow-up to May\u2019s Pistolz & Pearlz<\/em> \u2014 with no advance warning.<\/p>\n

Around the time of the album\u2019s release, Kodak put out a livestream to deliver a message to his fans, saying that he was ready to turn over a new leaf.<\/p>\n

\u201cI vow to do better on any area I lack, or some slack needs to be picked up on,\u201d he said. \u201cI must do better. I must do this shit.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He went on to express love for his supporters. \u201cI app<\/a>reciate y\u2019all, because if it was up to them, I\u2019d have been out of here,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His vow comes after fans recently expressed concern for Kodak\u2019s wellbeing following his appearance last month onDrink Champs.<\/em><\/p>\n

Viewers of the episode almost immedia<\/a>tely began commenting on his body language and how it seemed visibly off.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe needs help NOW!!!!!!! Omg this just broke my heart! How on earth can people be around him and watch him fall apart like this and not have him in rehab or something,\u201d one commenter on social media wrote, while another added: \u201cHe look so unhealthy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some were disappointed at\u00a0N.O.R.E\u00a0and co. for even having him on the show given his seemingly deteriorating state.<\/p>\n

\u201cShouldn\u2019t drop this video\u2026 what happened to uplifting the legends? This ain\u2019t it,\u201d one Instagram user commented, while another emphasized that further by saying it was \u201ca new low\u201d for the platform.<\/p>\n

Wack 1oo responded to the chatter, saying that fans\u2019 concerns were misplaced. \u201cAINT NOTHING WRONG WITH @kodakblack,\u201d he wrote in an Instagram post. \u201cEITHER YOU UNDERSTAND HIM OR YOU DONT! MAN WAS FOCUSED AND BEING HISSELF. THE GREATS ALWAYS STAND ALONE!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
