\nA 65-year-old man is dead after he was struck and killed by a car around the time of the Buffalo Bills game<\/a> on Monday night.\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Rochester, N.Y., resident was found laying in the street outside Highmark Stadium at 8:19 p.m. last night, according to a press release from the Orchard Park Police Department. At the time, the Bills and Denver Broncos were on the field for a game inside the stadium.\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\nAuthorities responded to a call of a pedestrian stuck by a vehicle, and witnesses reported having seen a vehicle hit the man and speed off, away from the victim.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\nFirst responders on site performed \u201clifesaving medical care\u201d on the victim before he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was soon pronounced dead, according to police. His name has not been released publicly.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\nThe vehicle that one bystander identified as the suspect who hit and killed the man was later located by police. The investigation is ongoing.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\nIn a separate incident, a 36-year-old man was hit by a car about a mile north of the Bills\u2019 Highmark Stadium around 10 p.m., police said. The driver did not flee the scene, and \u201ccooperated\u201d with authorities who were responding to the incident, the police press release said.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Buffalo man was transported to a nearby hospital with \u201cserious injuries,\u201d and an investigation by police determined that he had been crossing the road despite the driver having the right of way when he was struck.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\nBetween the two separate vehicle-related incidents, roads around the Bills\u2019 stadium were closed for roughly three hours, but by the time the game ended, all road closures had been lifted.<\/p>\n
