\n Chris Pine has admitted he was a bit nervous to perform opposite Ariana DeBose in the upcoming Disney animated film Wish<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Though the actor showed off his vocal cords in 2014\u2019s Into the Woods<\/em>, he recently told Entertainment Tonight<\/a><\/em>, \u201cIt\u2019s just not something I do on a daily.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n \u201cWhen you\u2019re singing opposite Ariana\u2026 it\u2019s a big deal,\u201d Pine added. But when DeBose learned her singing partner was doubting his ability, she had nothing but praise for him and his talents.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cHe can sing! He can absolutely sing,\u201d she told ET<\/em>. \u201cWhen I found out that I was cast in this film, I was like, \u2018Oh!\u2019 I mean, did you see him in\u00a0Into The Woods<\/em>? \u2026 I think Chris is one of those examples of not understanding just how talented he is.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n The Oscar winner went on to tease fans that they\u2019re going to be surprised once they can finally hear Pine sing.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cI love the sound of his voice, the way that he molds words,\u201d DeBose explained. \u201cHe is a delicious villain. You know people are going to love to hate him, and I just love watching him work.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Wish<\/em> follows Asha (DeBose), a young girl who wishes on a star and gets a more direct answer than she bargained for when a trouble-making star comes down from the sky to join her.<\/p>\n

\n The film also features the voices of Alan Tudyk, Angelique Cabral, Victor Garber, Natasha Rothwell, Jennifer Kumiyama,\u00a0Evan Peters,\u00a0Harvey Guill\u00e9n,\u00a0Ramy Youssef, Niko Vargas, Della Saba and Jon Rudnitsky.<\/p>\n

\n Wish<\/em> hits theaters on Nov. 22.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
