Aubrey O\u2019Day has made her disdain for Diddy abundantly clear. Now, however, the ex-Danity Kane member app<\/a>ears to have blamed the American justice system for her ex-boss\u2019s settlement with Cassie.<\/p>\n

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Saturday (November 18), O\u2019Day reposted a screenshot of the announcement that the ex-couple had settled their lawsuit, just a little over 24 hours after the suit was first brought, and she wasn\u2019t happy about the way things went.<\/p>\n

\u201cMoney > accountability. Every time. Welcome to another chapter of the system is well in place,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Prior to the settlement, O\u2019Day had sent social media<\/a> messages supportive of Cassie.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeen tryna tell y\u2019all for years,\u201d she wrote on her Instagram Story on Thursday (November 16). \u201cPrayers up for this queen @Cassie.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Day isn\u2019t the only celebrity to come to the defense of Cassie in the wake of the bombshell lawsuit.<\/p>\n

Dawn Richard, another ex-Danity Kane member, also supported the singer.<\/p>\n

\u201cPraying for Cassie and her family, for peace and healing. You are beautiful and brave. [heart emoji],\u201d she wrote on Twitter.<\/p>\n

Azealia Banks also reacted to the news<\/a> on social media on Thursday (November 16), detailing another alleged incident of domestic violence that Cassie suffered at the hands of the Bad Boy Records boss.<\/p>\n

\u201cTHIS IS TRUE,\u201d she wrote on her Instagram Stories in response to the headline: \u201cCassie Sues Sean \u2018Diddy\u2019 Combs For Rape And Repeated Physical Abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cOne time Diddy beat her up so bad he sent her on a 3week \u2018vacation\u2019 to Hawaii just so no one would see or question how her face got like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Banks called Diddy \u201canother violent hiphop homosexual,\u201d and said: \u201cThis is what mental illness looks like for all of you armchair psychologists\u201d \u2014 that last part seemingly a nod to observers who have\u00a0speculated about her own mental health in the past.<\/p>\n

In a statement provided to HipHopDX<\/em> by Ben Brafman, the attorney for Diddy, on Saturday, it was made clear that settling the case did not constitute an admission of guilt by his client.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust so we\u2019re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing,\u201d he wrote. \u201cMr. Combs\u2019 decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
