Lil Wayne still has some pre-concert jitters over two decades into his career, and only the soothing sound of one person\u2019s voice has cured his ailments.<\/p>\n

During a recent episode of Young Money Radio<\/em> on App<\/a>le Music, Weezy revealed to boxer Terrence Crawford that he listens to Anita Baker before shows to put him at ease, and his stomach aches go away.<\/p>\n

\u201cI put on Anita Baker, she take the pain away. I told her to her face too, and she said I\u2019m not the first person to tell her that,\u201d Wayne said. \u201cI looked dead in the eyes and told her, \u2018I get a very strong stomach ache and I\u2019ve been getting it since day one. Before I go on stage, there\u2019s nothing that works but you.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018I just put it on shuffle. Don\u2019t matter what the song is. When your voice come through, my stomach ache go away.\u2019 She goes, \u2018You not the first person to tell me that.\u2019 I go, \u2018See, you know I ain\u2019t lying, then.\u2019 She\u2019s a beautiful hell of a woman.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the music side, Lil Wayne reunited with 2 Chainz for Welcome 2 ColleGrove<\/em>, which arrived on Friday (November 17). There are plenty of familiar faces on the 21-track effort, including Rick Ross,\u00a021 Savage,\u00a0Usher,\u00a0Benny The Butcher,\u00a0Fabolous,\u00a0Vory\u00a0and\u00a0Marsha Ambrosius.<\/p>\n

On the production side, beats come from heavy hitters like Mannie Fresh, Juicy J, Mike Dean, Murda Beatz, DJ Toomp, Bangladesh, Big K.R.I.T. and StreetRunner.<\/p>\n

The album plays out like a cinematic, narrative-driven listening experience and is broken up into five \u201cscenes,\u201d with\u00a050 Cent narrating each interlude.<\/p>\n

On album standout \u201cShame,\u201d Tity Boi and Tunechi take turns on the mic and each drop Wu-Tang references, comparing themselves to the dynamic duo of\u00a0Raekwon\u00a0and\u00a0Ghostface Killah.<\/p>\n

\u201c2 Chainz and Wayne like Rae and Ghost,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0the Atlanta native spits, while his New Orleans counterpart raps:\u00a0\u201cWayne and 2 Chainz goin\u2019 Wu-Tang on you,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0later adding:\u00a0\u201cChainz and Wayne, n-gga, we like Chef and Ghost.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
