\nJudi Dench is opening up about her embarrassing moments.\n<\/p>\n

\nSpeaking on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show<\/a><\/em> on <\/strong>BBC Radio 2 on Wednesday, <\/strong>alongside her friend and co-author Brendan O\u2019Hea, Dench, 88, revealed that she once mistakenly FaceTimed someone while naked.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe actress explained, “Fint [Dench\u2019s daughter Finty Williams] rang me one morning… and said, \u2018It’s Chris Logan’s birthday and he’s having a walk with [actor] Ben Whishaw in Regent’s Park… please wish him happ<\/a>y birthday?\u2019 ”\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Shakespeare in Love <\/em>star \u2014 who shares Williams, 51, with her late husband, actor Michael Williams who died in 2001 at the age of 65 \u2014 then said she went upstairs to get into the bathtub and to send her friend a birthday message.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\n\u201cSo I picked up my phone\u2026 and I said, \u2018Chris… Happy Happy\u2019… and I just saw these two people turn and go *shocked*,\u201d the star said. \u201cWell… it was FaceTiming them… I don\u2019t know about FaceTime\u2026 poor Chris… happy birthday!\u201d\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\n\u201cWhat a birthday message\u2026 you can\u2019t top that though can you,\u201d host Ball joked.\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\nEarlier this year, the screen legend spoke about her battle with macular degeneration, revealing that it has become difficult to learn her lines due to her eyesight loss.\n<\/p>\n

\n“It has become impossible and because I have a photographic memory, I need to find a machine that not only teaches me my lines but also tells me where they appear on the page,” the Oscar winner said during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show <\/em>in February. “I used to find it very easy to learn lines and remember them. I could do the whole of Twelfth Night<\/em> right now.”\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\nDench, who released her new book Shakespeare: The Man Who Pays The Rent <\/em>with O\u2019Hea in October, also spoke to Ball about the discovery of one of her late husband’s costumes.\n<\/p>\n

\nShe explained that a costume collector wrote her a letter to say, \u201cI have Michael’s tunic from When Thou Art King<\/em>… when he played Henry V.”\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\n\u201cIt was the first thing I’d ever seen Mikey in… long before we were married,\u201d Dench said. \u201cSo I said, \u2018How fantastic,\u2019 and she sent it to me.”\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\nShe added that she subsequently realized that her late brother Jeffery Dench \u2014 who died in 2014 at the age of 85 \u2014 had been part of the same production and that the tunic had been designed by his wife, Ann Curtis.\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThere was a wonderful moment when Fint opened this box and saw her dad’s costume,” Dench said.\n<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

\n“The connection there,\u201d O\u2019Hea added. \u201cFint was in tears, Sammy [Dench’s grandson] was in tears and Judi was so emotional. It was just a beautiful moment… to see the whole family reunited… and also reunited through Shakespeare.\u201d<\/p>\n
