\n Bradley Cooper may be doing serious roles at this point in his career, but he\u2019s not opposed to returning to his earlier, more comedic ones. <\/p>\n

\n The multihyphenate stopped by The New Yorker<\/em> Radio Hour<\/em><\/a> <\/em>to discuss his film, Maestro<\/em>. During the podcast app<\/a>earance, he also opened up about whether or not he would do more \u201cfun\u201d movies<\/a> again one day. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cI would probably do Hangover IV<\/em> in an instant,\u201d the filmmaker said. \u201cJust because I love Todd [Phillips], I love Zach [Galifianakis], I love Ed [Helms] so much, I probably would.\u201d When pressed about whether or not that\u2019s coming, Cooper admitted, \u201cI don\u2019t think Todd is ever going to do that.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n While he hasn\u2019t done traditionally funny roles lately, he explained that he is having the most fun of his career right now and doesn\u2019t find the heavier movies he\u2019s been working on recently \u201cexhausting\u201d as many people might. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cThere\u2019s nothing more fun that I\u2019ve experienced than Maestro<\/em> and A Star is Born,<\/em>\u201d he said. \u201cI wouldn\u2019t do it if it wasn\u2019t.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n Cooper directed, co-wrote and stars in Maestro<\/em>, opposite Carey Mulligan. He portrays legendary composer Leonard Bernstein, while Mulligan takes on the role of his wife, Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein. <\/p>\n

\n Instead of creating a traditional biopic, the Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese-produced film details Leonard and Felicia\u2019s \u201cvery complicated\u201d 30-year relationship, from when they met at a party in 1946, through two engagements and three children. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cTheir connection was profound,\u201d Mulligan previously told Vogue<\/em>. \u201cThey lit each other up. You can hear it: There are tapes of them trading anecdotes, and it\u2019s like they\u2019re dancing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n The marriage, to some, may have seemed unorthodox, as she accepted his affairs with men. But it was only to a certain point. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cFor her, the betrayal wasn\u2019t sex,\u201d the Oscar-winning actress said of her character. \u201cIt was when she felt someone else intruding into the space she held for him, being the person who understood him, who was necessary.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Maestro <\/em>is in theaters now, before hitting Netflix Dec. 20. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
