Series creator\/director\/writer Noah Hawley recently spoke about the series\u2019 future at the season five premiere.<\/p>\n<p>Starring Juno Temple, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Joe Keery, Lamorne Morris, Sam Spruell, David Rysdahl, Jessica Pohly, Nick Gomez, and Dave Foley, the current season of the series is set in 2019. It follows a North Dakota sheriff (Hamm) on his search for a seemingly ordinary Midwestern housewife named Dorothy \u2018Dot\u2019 Lyon (Temple).<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-148755\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Hawley said the following about the future of <em>Fargo<\/em>, per <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2023\/11\/fargo-future-seasons-noah-hawley-1235613952\/\">Deadline<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI mean, who are we kidding? I\u2019d be lying if I said this is not the most fun I have in my year making this show. I haven\u2019t run out of ways to tell these stories. Why wouldn\u2019t I keep going?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Executive producer Steve Stark teased what viewers could see in future seasons. He said, \u201cWe\u2019ve covered every decade except the \u201960s and the \u201990s.
