\n Netflix has picked up It\u2019s Always Sunny in Philadelphia\u00a0<\/em>grads John and Dave Chernin\u2019s high school comedy Incoming<\/em>,\u00a0which stars The Black Phone<\/em> actor Mason Thames, Bobby Cannavale, Kaitlin Olson and Scott MacArthur (The Righteous Gemstones<\/em>). <\/p>\n

\n The Chernin Brothers\u2019 directorial debut from Artists Road and Spyglass Media<\/a> production follows four freshmen \u2013 played by Thames, Bardia Seiri, Ramon Reed and Raphael Alejandro \u2013 as they navigate the terrors of youth at their first-ever party.<\/p>\n

\n The Chernins wrote and directed Incoming,<\/em> which also stars Isabella Ferreira, Ali Gallo and Loren Gray. Spyglass Media came on board to co-finance the project after Artists Road boarded the indie comedy. Gary Barber\u2019s Spyglass Media Group, Ben Silverman\u2019s Propagate Content, Artists First and Off-Road Productions combined to launch Artists Road as a comedy film joint venture in 2020. <\/p>\n

\n The Chernin Brothers are also known for the popular TV series<\/a> It\u2019s Always Sunny<\/em>, the FX sitcom created by Rob McElhenney and developed with Glenn Howerton. Dave and John Chernin worked for seven years on It\u2019s Always Sunny<\/em>, including as co-executive producers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n They shot Incoming<\/em> in Los Angeles in the summer of 2022. Dave and John\u00a0Chernin also partnered on The Mick <\/em>comedy for Fox, which starred It\u2019s Alway Sunny <\/em>alum Kaitlin Olson. That project revolved around a hard-living, foul-mouthed woman who moves to affluent Greenwich, Conn., to raise the\u00a0spoiled\u00a0kids\u00a0of\u00a0her wealthy\u00a0sister\u00a0who has fled the country to avoid a federal indictment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n The producer credits on Incoming<\/em> are shared by Nicholas Stoller and Conor Welch for Stoller Global Solutions; Todd Garner, Peter Principato, Ben Silverman and Mark Korshak for Artists Road; and Peter Oillataguerre.<\/p>\n
