Joe Budden has fired back at NBA YoungBoy by claiming he\u2019s \u201cway bigger\u201d than him.<\/p>\n

The Baton Rouge rapp<\/a>er recently called Budden a \u201cpussy ass n-gga\u201d for saying his music is \u201ctrash\u201d during an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Now, Joe Budden has argued that YoungBoy\u2019s career is faltering, and backed up his claim by reading out the first-week sales for a number of YB\u2019s recent projects.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just wanna say, I\u2019m way bigger than him. Stop this,\u201d he said during an X Spaces on Monday (December 4). \u201cDawg, you young idiots get fooled by these label metrics and these digital tricks.<\/p>\n

\u201cWould you like me to read you the numbers on YoungBoy\u2019s last six projects? Alright. I mean, I don\u2019t want to. I didn\u2019t think I had to do this. \u2018Cause I\u2019m sure someone here is recording.<\/p>\n

\u201c2022, Never Broke Again, Quando Rondo LLC, 14,000 copies week one, Billboard position 62. Then you have Fed Baby\u2019s<\/em>, Moneybagg Yo, 2017, 21,000 week one. 3800 Degrees<\/em>, October 7, 2022, 24,000. What else we got? Better Than You<\/em> with DaBaby, March 4, 2022, 28,000. Until I Return<\/em>, 2020, 29,000. Stop this, yo. Stop.<\/p>\n

\u201cJanuary 6, 2023, 29,000. Here, we got another one. 2022, Ma\u2019 I Got a Family<\/em>, 39,000. We got another one here, September 6, Never Broke Again, 39,000. We got another one here, 2018, 43,000. We got another one, 43,000, 2018. We got another one here, 51,000, 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cThe point is, you doing a lot for somebody that don\u2019t sell more than 60,000 records. Stop it. Enough of young people just saying stupid shit in Hip Hop. We get it, you like who you like, awesome. But it\u2019s not this dominant force that you n-ggas keep tryna make it out to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite Joe Budden\u2019s comments, NBA YoungBoy has earned over 60,000 first-week units several times in his career with projects like 2020\u2019s Top<\/em> (126,000), 2021\u2019s Sincerely, Kentrell<\/em> (137,000) and 2022\u2019s The Last Slimeto<\/em> (108,400).<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Budden\u2019s first and only major label album, 2003\u2019s Joe Budden<\/em>, sold 95,000 copies in its first week and debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, powered by the hit single \u201cPump It Up\u201d \u2014 although this was years before streaming came into effect.<\/p>\n

The pair\u2019s back-and-forth began when Joe Budden called NBA YoungBoy \u201chorrible\u201d on his podcast over the weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat n-gga\u2019s trash,\u201d he said. \u201cHe\u2019s horrible. He is horrible. He is really, really, really, really, really bad. I don\u2019t know him as a person; I\u2019m only speaking about music.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat thing happened with him where when he was out, the label pushed the button and did some YouTube<\/a> shit, so then all the little kids had to come to the gathering and tell you about NBA YoungBoy\u2019s views and how great he is.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cNow that the label\u2019s backed up a bit, and now that we\u2019ve done had about three or four projects while he\u2019s been in Utah on house arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shortly after, NBA YoungBoy responded with a fiery rant in which he told Budden to \u201cshut his fucking mouth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last thing I dropped was Decided 2<\/em> \u2014 my album\u2019s still in the top 10, pussy ass n-gga!\u201d he said. \u201cDon\u2019t speak on me, I don\u2019t play that shit. Don\u2019t rat on me neither, you pussy bitch!<\/p>\n

\u201cYou stupid dumb bitch, your dick don\u2019t even get hard no more, clown ass n-gga! Ain\u2019t no sabotaging me, bitch! Fuck wrong with that n-gga, man? Don\u2019t rat on me, bitch.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cAnd I don\u2019t want to argue with your bitch ass! Bitch, you do all them interviews \u2014 come on Grave Digger Mountain and talk to me n-gga. If you can\u2019t do that, you\u2019re bitch made, n-gga. Shut your fucking mouth!\u201d<\/p>\n
