Lil Wayne has shed light on his creative process when it comes to his famed guest features, revealing that he taps into a different side of himself in the booth.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his App<\/a>le Music show Young Money Radio<\/em> alongside guest Tyga, Wayne said: \u201cWhen it comes to them verses and them features, I admit there\u2019s a me that I turn on for features that I do not know what the hell goes on. I don\u2019t know that guy, I just know he always comes through.\u201d<\/p>\n

Addressing his Young Money signee, he added: \u201cMe featuring on someone\u2019s song and killing the verse is just as sure as this man [Tyga] putting out a hit out. What Snoop said? These muthafuckas right here, we don\u2019t miss.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lil Wayne has been on a hot feature run of late, receiving particular acclaim for his appearance on Benny The Butcher\u2019s latest single \u201cBig Dog\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Alchemist-produced song is set to appear on the Griselda MC\u2019s upcoming debut album on Def Jam, Everybody Can\u2019t Go<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Weezy has also delivered stellar verses on Nas\u2018 \u201cNever Die,\u201d DJ Khaled\u2018s \u201cGod Did,\u201d Tyler, The Creator\u2018s \u201cHot Wind Blows\u201d and Tyga and YG\u2018s \u201cBrand New,\u201d among others, in recent years.<\/p>\n

The rap veteran\u2019s status as a noted guest feature killer dates back to the late \u201990s when he appeared on Cash Money hits like Juvenile\u2019s \u201cBack That Azz Up\u201d and B.G.\u2019s \u201cBling Bling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now in the fourth decade of his career, Lil Wayne has also contributed features for a vast array of artists including Eminem, JAY-Z, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Drake, OutKast and his favorite rapper Missy Elliott.<\/p>\n

A number of his features verses have been Grammy nominated, such as his \u201cMake It Rain\u201d collaboration with Fat Joe, \u201cSoldier\u201d with Destiny\u2019s Child and Fat Joe and \u201cI\u2019m On One\u201d with DJ Khaled, Drake and Rick Ross.<\/p>\n

JAY-Z and T.I.\u2019s \u201cSwagga Like Us,\u201d which also featured verses from Wayne and Kanye West, won the Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 2009.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
