Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ<\/em>, the next instalment of the Cardfight!! Vanguard<\/em> franchise\u2019s D series<\/a>, will begin its run on January 13 JST. A trailer, previewing newly announced opening song \u201cKirifuda\u201d by virtual artist group V.W.P<\/strong>, has been released.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ <\/em>is the sixth entry in the D series, following two seasons of Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress\u00a0 <\/em>and three seasons of Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress<\/em>. The show\u2019s plot will revolve around six powerful cards, their chosen fighters, and a great battle of destiny.<\/span><\/p>\n

Toshiya Miyata<\/b> of Japanese boy band Kis-My-Ft2<\/b> is playing the protagonist, Akina Myodo. Other cast members include Jun Fukuyama<\/strong> as Gabwelius, Eri Yukimura<\/strong> as Hikari Myodo, Yuuka Nishio<\/strong> as Nao Inabe, Reiji Kawashima<\/strong> as Suou Yobitsugi, Haruki Iwata<\/strong> as Mikoto Saitou, Takumi Mano<\/strong> as Taizou Kiyokura, Shuuta Morishima<\/strong> as Masanori Iseki, and Amane Shindou<\/strong> as Megumi Ookura.<\/span><\/p>\n

Takuto Yamada<\/strong> (Dropkick on My Devil!!! X<\/em> co-director, Koikimo<\/em> assistant director) is directing Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>with series composition from Shun Menjou<\/strong> (Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress\u00a0<\/em>trilogy card fight composition) and Takahito Oonishi<\/strong> (Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress<\/em> Season 3 co-series composer).Tomokatsu Nagasaku<\/strong> (Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress <\/em>co-character designer) and Hiroyuki Saita<\/strong> (Revue Starlight<\/em>) are behind the character desgins.<\/span><\/p>\n

The D series is a co-production between Kinema Citrus<\/strong>,\u00a0Gift Animation<\/strong>, and\u00a0STUDIO JEMI<\/strong>. It also features original character designs from CLAMP<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
