\n Cameron Diaz is defending her Back in Action<\/em> co-star Jamie Foxx\u2018s on-set decorum following rumors that he made \u201ceverything miserable and that I was never gonna make another movie again because of him.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n Diaz app<\/a>eared on a recent episode of Molly Sims\u2019\u00a0Lipstick on the Rim<\/a><\/em>, where she discussed working with Foxx, who experienced a medical emergency while filming on the Atlanta set of their upcoming movie earlier this year. <\/p>\n

\n Diaz described Foxx, who she\u2019s previously worked with on two other movies<\/a>, as a \u201ccheerleader for the entire crew,\u201d adding that \u201ceverybody loves him.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n \u201cJamie is the best. I love that guy so much. He\u2019s such a special person, and he\u2019s so talented, so much fun,\u201d she added. \u201cWe have so much fun on the set with him, and he\u2019s just a professional on every level.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Rumors, the actress says, about Foxx\u2019s on-set conduct called that professionalism into question, something that she\u2019s adamantly disputing. \u201cI really hate all of the things that were being said about our set,\u201d Diaz told Sims. \u201cYou just want to scream at the top of your lungs, like, \u2018What are you talking about?’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n The actress was referring to rumors that Foxx had made the set \u201cmiserable\u201d and had made the actress \u2014\u00a0who is coming back from a 10-year acting hiatus \u2014\u00a0want to leave filmmaking again. Diaz called it a \u201cgreat set\u201d and noted that any production issues were over the everyday variety. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cThe hiccups that happened throughout production are the natural kinds of things that happen,\u00a0but nothing got delayed\u00a0other than, obviously, toward the end,\u201d the Back in Action<\/em> star said, referencing Foxx\u2019s hospitalization. <\/p>\n

\n While she declined to get into specifics about her co-star\u2019s health or what happened on set, Diaz did celebrate Foxx\u2019s recovery, agreeing with Sims that he\u2019s \u201cthriving.\u201d She also revealed that Foxx declined to address any rumors about what was happening on the set of Back in Action<\/em>, calling her co-star \u201cclassy.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n \u201cHe\u2019s like, \u2018Nope. Just let them [talk],’\u201d Diaz explained. \u201cWe know the truth. Still, it just really made me angry.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Foxx, who recently celebrated turning 56, was hospitalized in April for an undisclosed medical issue, with his daughter, Corrine, stating that he \u201cexperienced a medical complication\u201d but was \u201calready on his way to recovery.\u201d\u00a0The actor stepped back from the public eye for several months, with Nick Canon taking over hosting duties on his FOX series Beat Shazam<\/em> and missing the premiere for his film\u00a0They Cloned Tyrone<\/em> before being\u00a0seen on a yacht\u00a0waving to passersby in July. <\/p>\n

\n The award-winning actor has repeatedly thanked the public for their support as he recovered, including his most recent birthday comments. \u201cI wanna start by saying thank you to everyone that prayed for me when I was in a bad way,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI NEEDED EVERY PRAYER\u2026 you lifted me through\u2026 I was able to make it to today because of your prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
