Truett Cathy, decided to keep its doors closed on Sundays for his employees to worship or rest.<\/p>\n<p>Chick-fil-A closing its doors on Sunday is not the only religious principle it has practiced. The company came under heavy criticism after donating to ANTI-LGBTQ groups in 2012.
