Nicki Minaj put Stephen Colbert\u2019s freestyle skills to the test during her recent visit \u2013 and he did not disapp<\/a>oint!<\/p>\n

The head Barb was a guest on The Late Show<\/em> on Wednesday (December 20), stopping by to discuss her chart-topping album, Pink Friday 2<\/em>. When asked if she could do a freestyle, Minaj brought the beat by banging on the table and remixed PF2<\/em> cut \u201cFTCU,\u201d instructing Stephen to finish the lyrics with his own bars.<\/p>\n

\u201cHigh heels on for Stevie\/If I marry Stevie, he ain\u2019t ever gon\u2019 leave me<\/em>,\u201d Minaj began (taking from the original lines, \u201cHigh heels on my tippies\/Dolce and Gabbana, that\u2019s on my titties<\/em>) to which Colbert responded: \u201cHigh heels are not Nicki\/You better hope you never meet my wife Evie!<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

Pink Friday 2<\/em> debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 228,000 equivalent album units in its first week, handing Nicki Minaj her third No. 1 album \u2014 the most of any female rapper.<\/p>\n

Since its release on December 8, the effort has already spawned a number of bonus songs including a collaboration with 50 Cent and another seeing Minaj link up with Monica and Keyshia Cole.<\/p>\n

But a recent post seems to suggest there is more Pink Friday 2<\/em> material on the way, as Minaj posted a clip of Rihanna dancing to \u201cFTCU\u201d at her recent Fenty x PUMA event with the caption: \u201cThe full gag city deluxe ain\u2019t coming out until Queen Rih send her vocals. POW.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair have not collaborated since 2010 with their song\u00a0 \u201cFly\u201d on Minaj\u2019s debut album Pink Friday,<\/em> and then again on \u201cRaining Men\u201d on RiRi\u2019s Loud<\/em> LP that same month.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Rihanna has not released an album since 2016\u2019s ANTI<\/em> and has seldom released music of any kind in the seven years since.<\/p>\n

Some of her most notable recordings in that time period including \u201cLift Me Up\u201d from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever<\/em> soundtrack and a collaboration with PARTYNEXTDOOR.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with Andy Cohen, Nicki Minaj talked about her long-running admiration of the Bajan superstar.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are two women that I have looked up to in the music industry since I have come in it in a different way, just because of who they are and where I\u2019m from and who I am,\u201d she said. \u201cOf course, Bey and Rih.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
